Vehicle Raffle Rules and Regulation

ELIGIBILITY

Entry individual who donates, and anyone to whom an entry donator legally transfers an entry, must be an individual 18 years or older at time of the entry donation. Only one (1) individual may be identified as the donator of the raffle entry. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Entries may be donated via the Internet, call center, mail or at designated drop-off center(s). The Good Place Foundation Raffle ("Raffle") is conducted in English (with Spanish speaking representatives available). Ticket confirmation number(s) will be mailed to all donator at the billing address provided during the donation. All email communications, including the email
ticket donation confirmation, will be sent to the email address supplied during the donation. It is the donator’s responsibility to provide a valid, deliverable mailing address and/or email address to Good Place Foundation, Inc. ("GPF"). GPF and its agents, Board, vendors, volunteers and members assume no liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, undelivered entries or entries without proper payment received,which entries shall be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified. GPF’s Board members are not eligible to participate in the Raffle. By entering the Raffle, the entry donator acknowledges that he or she is aware of, and agrees to abide by, the Official Raffle rules and regulations.



DRAWINGS

Key eligibility and prize drawing dates are as follows:

    Winning certificate/ticket numbers for all remaining prizes, including theGrand Prize, will be announced on June 29, 2013. All entries must be received
    by 11:59 p.m. (EST) on June 22, 2013 to be eligible for these drawings.  Prizes with the lowest retail value will be drawn first progressing in order to the Grand Prize. After each draw, the winning certificate number will be returned to the draw for all remaining eligible prize drawings.

GPF reserves the right to accept or reject any raffle entry, modify or extend individual drawing deadlines, and/or add additional prizes or drawings at any time, in their sole discretion.



RETURN AND CANCELLATION POLICY

All requests for ticket or Raffle entry cancellations must be made by 11:59 a.m. (EST) within 24 hours of the drawing for which the

ticket(s) in question is/are eligible for. Furthermore, all donations of Raffle entries are non-refundable after the noon deadline posted above, or once an entry has been included in any prize draw.
 
 

PRIZES

The total number of
prizes awarded in the Spring 2013 Good Place Foundation Raffle shall be dependent on the total number of valid entries received. The chance of a valid single ticket entry winning a prize shall be no less than the value outlined. To receive a detailed explanation of how the odds are determined and/or calculated, please send a written request with a self addressed, stamped envelope to the address listed below. Prizes may not be exactly as shown, are based on manufacturer availability and may be substituted with a prize of similar value or with the cash equivalent by GPF. In the event of a winning entry having more than one name, GPF will award the prize to the first name listed on the entry. Records of GPF shall be deemed correct if there is any discrepancy. GPF is not responsible for resolving any disputes that may arise from different individuals listed on a valid Raffle certificate. With proper transfer documents bearing notarized signatures, as required by the Raffle, a prize may be transferred.



The winner of the 1st Ticket Grand Prize ("Grand Prize") is entitled
to vehicle in question. If fewer than 10,000 tickets are sold in the 2013 Good Place Foundation Raffle by 11:59 p.m.
(CST) on June 22, 2013, then all applicable drawings will be held as scheduled and all prizes will be awarded as advertised to maintain the 1-in-15 chance to win with the exception of the Grand Prize. In the case of under 10,000 tickets being sold in the 2013    Raffle by the aforementioned deadline, the Grand Prize amount awarded to the Grand Prize winner of the 2013 Good Place Foundation Raffle shall equal the greater of $100,000 or fifty (50%) percent of the Net Proceeds from the 2013 Good Place Foundation Raffle ("Net Profits"). The Net Proceeds shall be determined by GPF's certified public accounting firm on or before August 31, 2013, and their determination shall be final and binding. All other rules shall apply as stated including, without limitation, the application, payment and
timing of the available cash alternatives as stated.



All vehicles new or use come base model factory equipped and winner(s) are also solely responsible for any and all state or local license, title, registration, taxes, or fees associated with the vehicle, as well as insurance (proof of which must be shown prior to delivery) and pickup or delivery costs to acquire the vehicle.


  
NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS

All winners will be notified in writing or by phone of the prize won and any requisite procedure to claim the prize. All prizes, excluding vehicles, will be sent to the winner's home address only. Except for the Grand Prize winner, winners of all prizes shall have forty (45) calendar days from notification of winning, to inform GPF of their acceptance of the vehicle price. If a selected winner is unable to be
contacted or located after a period of four (4) months from the draw date of any Raffle drawing, the prize or its cash equivalent will be deemed to have been donated to GPF for use by their charitable foundation. All winners, by entering, authorize GPF to publish their name and likeness on the website and for it to be used in other promotional materials by GPF.
 
TAXES AND IRS RULES

All winners shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prizes. All cash prizes will be paid net of applicable income tax withholding.



WAIVER/LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Entry person who donates, by participating (and winners, by accepting a prize) release Good Place Foundation, Inc., and its respective board, committee members, volunteers, partners, vendors, agents, representatives, sponsors, service agencies and independent contractors, and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees and agents, including advertising, public relations, direct marketing and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession or use of the prize(s) awarded and also acknowledge that they did not receive any representations, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness. Any liability of GPF shall be limited to ticket price paid and in the case of any dispute, GPF's decision shall be final. GPF reserves the right to modify or amend the Official Raffle Rules without notice at any time.
